Pre Purchase Inspections

Pre Purchase Inspections is recommended prior to purchasing any used vehicle regardless of age or mileage. We have found that in most cases, the selling individual or dealer is willing to split the cost and even pay for the entire inspection. Its worth asking.

We recommend this inspection if you have concerns with a repair facility while they are performing repairs on your vehicle. There many times that there are recommended repairs that are not necessary, and even worse, missing an obvious problem. Don't let that be you. On all second opinion inspection requests, we will first consult with you via email or telephone. We would like to get all the information that we can get first, to determine if an inspection is even necessary.

This type of inspection is primarily for customers that have had a problem with their vehicle that is someone else's responsibility. We will examine all evidence available, perform a thorough inspection of the vehicle, and provide photos as well as a detailed written report of our findings and our professional opinion as to what course of action should be taken. We will also, for an additional fee, accompany you and / or your attorney to court and personally testify on your behalf.

We are normally requested to perform these inspections by the warranty company itself. All inspectors employed by our company are fully qualified to inspect for any warranty company world-wide.

This particular inspection is more for your "do it yourself" customer. We have seen many cases where a customer is fully capable of performing their own repairs, but may not have the knowledge to diagnose what the actual problem is. The best part is, we come to you. There is no need to have the vehicle towed anywhere. We will send an inspector to the facility of your choice, perform all necessary diagnostics necessary, and inform you of the cause of failure so that you can repair it yourself. We are so confident in our inspectors, that along with our normal inspection guarantee, if we are unable to determine the cause of failure, for whatever reason, there will be no charge to you. If for some reason you are not comfortable performing the repairs that are needed, we can also provide you with several referrals to competent repair facilities. We will NEVER refer our customer to a repair facility that we would not trust with our own vehicles.

This inspection can be more important than you think. If you have ever had a lease vehicle, then you know just how picky the lease company can be when the vehicle is turned back in. They inspect from bumper to bumper with a fine tooth comb and charge for every ding, dent and scratch. When we perform our inspection, we document every inch of the vehicle that can be photographed. Once this inspection is performed, there is no way that you could be charged for anything that you are not responsible for.
